Overview

Stage adaptation of the 2025 movie On Summer Sand. Set during a scorching, dry summer in Nagasaki, the story follows a grief-stricken man whose life has completely stalled after the tragic loss of his young son and the separation from his wife. His stagnant world begins to subtly change when he is forced to live with his independent 16-year-old niece, offering a quiet glimmer of hope to their otherwise emotionally barren lives.
